Building Blocks

A bridge can be a massive and inspiring structure causing wonder and awe or a simple wooden bridge from an era long ago.  Despite the variation of size and length, a bridge is used for movement to and from; its travelers cause the heart ache of saying goodbye and the joy of saying hello.

Prior to construction, leaders recognized building blocks can be used for a bridge or for a wall. The safe answer would be to construct a wall.  It attempts to restrict movement of those leaving, but it also limits those trying to arrive.

Every location addressing brain gain must decide the use of its building blocks.

A bridge requires more collaboration, more partnership, more assembly, but also offers a greater potential.  It is the collective efforts of many believing in a community and sharing their faith and hope with others.  They are committed to being open to old and new ideas.
